How to Activate Timeline on Facebook [New Interface] – Step by Step Tutorial Method

Facebook has recently released a new feature “TimeLine” which is under discussion for past some time. People are liking the new feature as well as there are people who are criticizing it. You shall try it and give your comments about your experience. In the following section we have explained step by step process of acquiring timeline now as this feature is not available for all Facebook users.

In order to have it now follow the procedure shown below:

Go to search bar at the above section and write “Developer”. Open the first result as shown in the figure below:

This will drag you to the permission section, click allow to proceed further shown at the bottom.

Step-4

It will take you to the developer page. If you are not directed to the page automatically then you can find the link in the footer. Once you are on the page, Click “create new app”

Step-5

Now give any name to your application, whatever you feel like and fill the security code.

Step-6

Now you will be directed to the new page, You have to click “Open Graph” shown in left panel of the page as shown in the figure below:

Step-7

It will drag you to the Open Graph page , fill the two basic fields shown below:

Step-8

You will need to do little configuration changes on the next page by changing the present to past tense etc. Then follow on screen instructions and click “Save and next” at the bottom.

Step-9

Then wait for some time and go to your home, you will find invite to timeline at the top of page as shown in the following picture:

You are done with the steps and enjoy the new timeline feature.
