Are you ready for another Samsung smartphone? As the smartphone era has started to flourish a number of great sets are coming out of the box. Just after Apple announced their new generation of iPhone 4S, Samsung proved second to none in this regard and also announced new Galaxy Nexus Prime to be released on 11 October.
The new smartphone from Samsung is expected be launched with Google’s Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 Operating System. Although there is a little conflict in leaks related to camera resolution as some claim it will be 5MP with capability of 720p video shooting while the others like BGR have claimed that its camera will be 8MP with full 1080p HD video-shooting. Whatever the case may be it will be a great addition for smartphone lovers and also add up more space for people to select phone of their own choice. More the number of choices, more people will be happy.Thickness of Samsung Galaxy Nexus Prime is 9mm which is slightly more that of Samsung Galaxy S2.
Besides camera there are some more conflicts and must have features which makes it a good smartphone such as dual core processor with 1.2 GHz (previously rumored) and now we are getting news that its processor will 1.5 GHz dual core. All things could become crystal clear on 11 October which was release date but recently that has also been postponed to unknown duration of time. Leaked specs of upcoming smartphone with some conflicts of rumors:
- Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich
- 9mm thin
- 4.65-inch 1280 x 720-pixel Super AMOLED HD with curved glass
- TI OMAP 4460 dual-core Cortex A9 processor clocked at 1.2GHz (or 105 GHz Dual Core)
- 1GB of RAM
- 32GB of built-in storage
- 5-megapixel (or 8MP) camera on the back, 1.3-megapixel in the front
- 1080p HD video capture support
- LTE/HSPA depending on carrier
- Wi-Fi a/b/g/n
- NFC
- 1,750 mAh battery
No specific release date can be confirmed, also no ideas about price can be made. As there are a lot of different rumors so rough calculation of price is also very difficult. Samsung and Google might have delayed the release of their new smartphone because more eyes will be obviously focused on iPhone 4S on next day. So it is really not an appropriate time for launching a new phone which is comparatively lower in specs so far.
