Good news for desperate users of iPhone 4S, iPad 2 and iPhone 4G who had updated their devices to iOS 5 or iOS 5.0.1 because the wait is almost over and Pod2g has successfully exploited the all new operating system. The new Jailbreak for iOS 5 or iOS 5.0.1 was highly anticipated by the people and the best thing about it is that it will be Untethered.

He has handed over his development to Chronic Dev Team (Greenpois0n) in which devices like iPhone 4G, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 4, iPod touch 3G and iPad 1 can be Jailbroken Untethered which means there is no need of Jailbreak every time you switch on your phone. The untethered Jailbreak of said devices is in final testing stages by Chronic Dev Team and hopefully will be stable enough. Pod2g is in the mean time focusing on iPad 2 and iPhone 4G so that their Untethered Jailbreak can also be done anytime soon.
