Last Friday there were voices of the Royal Wedding every where on news channels, internet, social media or even between friends. This was one of the most viewed event watched in the World live on TV channels as most of the networks in all the regions of World were showing it live online.
This Royal Wedding seemed to be a fairy tale to most of the students, especially girls and even guys of younger ages. It does not mean that the event was only watched by youth rather it was a unique area of interest for all age groups. Many people watched the live show but as it is not possible for everyone to see anything live so much of the population of World remained deprived of live coverage due to job related, time zone or other issues like stuck in traffic anywhere.
Youtube is the only source available to people who watch recordings of missed live programs. Like all other TV shows many channels and webmasters uploaded highlights of the same event on Youtube for left overs. This was watched by over 72 million people on last Friday which is a record. Many other live stream programs also reported that their traffic also made traffic ceiling record with a remarkable difference.
According to 2009 Census, the United Kingdom had a population of above 61 million which must be a little lesser than 72 million page views. This event has become 6th most viewed occasion on the internet with 4 to 5 million viewers per minute. The reason for such a record is that people must have watched this interesting program repeatedly.
