Miss Angola Crowned as Miss Universe 2011 – Detailed Review of Contest

The most awaited event of Miss Universe 2011 took place at Sao Paulo and there the beauty queen was finally crowned. This year the judges announced Miss Angola, Leila Lopes as the winner of the event. Miss Angola is 25 year old and was wearing a gown of cream color. The most impressive part was the final round when Miss Angola was able to make a great impression on the judges by giving a very intuitive answer. The new Miss Universe 2011, Miss Angola aims to bring more prosperity to her country and she has plans that mainly focus on working on fight against HIV all around the world. Miss Angola and now Miss Universe has already worked a lot for a number of social purposes but all what was done was for her country but now she strives to create a change all around the globe.

Miss Universe 2011, Miss Angola gave her statement that she is a natural person, the one who never have any kind of surgery related to her face or she has never changed anything about her. She considers her smile being the biggest asset and one of the reasons for her victory. The beauty queen is of the view that the three things that she considers important for beauty are to have sleep, using sunscreen and dirking lots and lots of water.

Leila is number four Miss Universe from Africa and people appreciate that someone so natural, black, and beautiful and a gem when it comes to her personality got to be Miss Universe and that is the true spirit of the show. Being so real and genuine was a strong point that turned out to be in favor for Miss Angola.

On the other hand the top five finalists gave a tough competition. Among the runner up first was Miss Ukraine, 23 years old Olesia Stefanko, the second runner up was Miss Brazil, Priscila Machado. The third and fourth position holders were Miss Philippines and Miss China respectively. Miss china was a great contender but the problem was her translator and this made a bad impact of whatever she answered.
